"After Hours"
L'Eclipse Campaign

Intro

A motion-led campaign reimagining the luxury nightlife experience through the lens of cinematic noir. "After Hours" moves away from traditional holiday tropes, instead using atmospheric animation, grainy textures, and high-contrast visuals to evoke a sense of late-night mystery and curated exclusivity. It is a visual invitation to a world that only exists between midnight and sunrise.

Strategy

Nightlife advertising often relies on high-energy chaos; "After Hours" succeeds by doing the opposite. The strategy centers on "sensory tension"—using dark editorial typography and fluid, low-tempo motion to create a feeling of prestige. By focusing on mood over information, the campaign targets a sophisticated audience seeking a refined, social-first alternative to the standard seasonal event.

Visual Identity

The system is built on a foundation of "Cinematic Static." By layering original photography with textured gradients and dark, serif-driven layouts, the identity feels both timeless and digital-native. The motion language—characterized by rhythmic pulses and elegant transitions—transforms static brand elements into an immersive digital environment that mirrors the pulse of an upscale lounge.

Base background — the near-black night the whole system lives in.

Primary brand color, lifted straight from the logo's melt.

Glow accents and dividers — the flash, not the storm itself.

Cool off-white that stays legible without warming up the storm.

The Concept:

L'Éclipse is a "ghost" lounge—an ultra-exclusive, subterranean bar located in a historical district of NYC’s West Village that remains closed 364 days a year. It only opens its doors on Halloween night for a 12-hour period known as "The After Hours."

From PSD to AE Motion:

The transition from Photoshop to After Effects focused on "Atmospheric Realism." By combining CC Rain and Advanced Lighting, I established a moody, high-contrast environment. I engineered the fluid elements using particle world and smoke simulations (Vector Blur & Fractal Noise) to mirror the campaign's dark, "After Hours" energy. The typography was treated as a physical object within the space, using CC Glass to create a refractive, premium finish.

Color Palette

#FFF4E4 - Flour

Base tone — reads as fresh dough, keeps packaging light on shelf.

#702200 - Char

Primary brand color — deep enough to read as premium, not fast food.

#B48556 - Crust

Mid-tone for texture and secondary graphics — the color of a good bake.

#603402 - Roast

Body text and deep shadow tone — grounds the palette without going black.

Golden Crust is designed for a fast-paced New York audience of young professionals, commuters, and tourists seeking high-quality, convenient breakfast options. In a saturated bagel market, the concept identifies an opportunity to stand out through product quality, brand experience, and modern positioning.

The strategy centers on elevating a familiar staple by introducing sourdough fermentation as both a functional and experiential advantage. This approach aligns with growing interest in artisan foods, health-conscious choices, and ingredient transparency.

Rather than competing through volume, the brand emphasizes simplicity, consistency, and strong visual identity, supported by social media-driven growth and strategic partnerships.

A warm neutral palette paired with rich golden tones evokes freshness and quality, while bold, modern typography ensures clarity and readability across fast-paced environments. Graphic elements draw from circular forms and soft textures, creating a cohesive system that extends across packaging, signage, and digital applications while keeping the product as the focal point.

Sip Into Summer

National Margarita Day Campaign

Brand System, Social Design, Motion

A social-first campaign concept developed to promote National Margarita Day for a fictional bar and restaurant, The Citrus Social. Targeting audiences in their twenties and thirties, the campaign centers on vibrant, experience-driven visuals that highlight social connection and celebratory moments.

In response to shifting consumer habits around alcohol consumption, the campaign repositions the holiday as a shared, lifestyle-focused event. Promotions such as group drink specials informed the visual direction, encouraging engagement through collective experiences rather than individual consumption.

The design system combines bold typography, citrus-inspired color palettes, and dynamic compositions to create a cohesive identity across digital platforms. Photography was integrated with graphic design and motion to produce a series of Instagram-ready assets, blending authenticity with high-impact visuals.

Motion elements—including animated type and fluid transitions—extend the campaign into a more immersive, engaging experience across social media.
